First of all, what is a Quad? It is the successor of the ATC (All Terrain Cycles) with three wheels. The quad,however, has four wheels that is why it is given the name ATV (All Terrain Véhicle) in the Saxon language countries. The first quads had agricultural vocation. They were useful, in the great properties to transport manures, the seeds in trailers to the tractor remained in the fields. Also to go to work or to join the farm at the end of the day. One of other utilities is the unloading of wood. Thanks to its compactness and its various techniques of traction/propulsion, it passes where the tractors do not pass. But the man has an annoying tendency to divert of its use any thing. Thus it was in this way that the Quad-cross was born. It is thus a machine with four wheels, propelled by a thermal engine 2 or 4 times, of cubic capacity varying from 50 Cm3 to 1000 Cm3. Its body is reduced to the minimum, just like protection. .
The engines as well as the orders are "Motor bikes". clutch and Front brake with the hands, selector of speeds and rear brake with the feet. The quads said "sporty" do not have a differential rear. I know that currently few places accept us, but the weight of the number will open doors and places to us or to practise our sport. Stolen Quads :
