Picturesque villages
· Annesse. The village,
snuggled up around its beautiful Roman church and its strong
house, offers a very beautiful promennade along the channel.
· Grignols. At the foot
of the strong Castle, the majority of the old houses which
are ordered around the place of the village, were superbly
restored. 
· Jaure. Within a preserved
natural framework, this small peaceful village is composed
of a church, a miraculous fountain and an inn
· Saint –Aquilin.
Stroll in a stoned street known as "the street of stones".
Discovery of the dolmen of Peyrebrune and castles superbly
renovated.
· Saint Germmain du Salembre.Village
which shelters an elegant castle of pleasure. In the hillside,
the hamlet of the "Meynard" is an old village made
up of splendid restored houses...
· Douzillac. Here, a
remarkable restoration of the habitat, out of calcareous stone,
puts in value this village which dominates the Valley of Isle.
· Sourzac. On the edges
of Isle, the old village of Sourzac, at the foot of the church
is a privileged place for the painters.
· Saint –Laurent des hommes.
The borough boasted of a town hall with the typical architecture
of Double. Not far, the houses of Gamenson magnificiently
form a hamlet illustrating "doubleaudian" architecture
(cob and half-timberings).
· Ménestérol.
Charming village with its Roman church. At two steps, a shaded
space of greenery, arranged in edge of river, ideal for the
picnic.

· Castle of Grignols : Castle
XII th - XVth, is the only medieval fortress of the valley
of Isle to have preserved its dungeon defensive elements,

·Castle
of Puyferrat at Saint - Astier. Renaissance Castle
decorated with a covered way on machicolation and roofs in
pepper pots, with room out of cob and arched cellars. Original
vault decorated with coloured contemporary frescos, with a
Byzantine inspiration.

secondhand trades...

•Castle of Neuvic. On the banks of
Isle, surrounded of a botanical park, the Renaissance Castle
with a remarkable architecture, is also a place of life for
children. To see: arched rooms, living room XVIII, rooms...

• Castle of Montreal in Issac. Over
the road of the thousand and one castles of Périgord,
Montreal dominates the preserved valley of Crempse. Historical
dwelling that is furnished and inhabited. To discover living
rooms, vault (XVIth century), underground, arched room and
vestiges of medieval fortifications.
