PRESENTATION OF the VILLAGE
Welcome to the Fortified town of Armagnac, Small City of Character.
- Little return to the past
Following the marriage of Aliénor of Aquitaine with Henri Plantagenet, Gascogne becomes English and it is into 1291 that the Count of Armagnac Bernard VI founds the Fortified town.
The place is always surrounded by the same arcades with roofed passageways but the church took its current form only in XVth century. It is decorated with various classified parts of furniture.
Henri de Navarre made several stays in a house of the Royal Place. The legend tells that, becoming Henri IV, he was inspired from this one to make build the place of Vosges in Paris.

Here, you are in the country of the festival! Landanians have merry mood and like to share their pleasures. Before the landanian race or while returning back from the match of Rugby, after the part of skittles or, all is pretext to put the feet under the table. The card is tasty there :
