the ground and water
BOHAL.
Charming borough at the verge of the moors of Lanvaux, Bohal
welcomes you. The Saint Gildas Church is a traditional building.
If one makes abstraction of the bell-tower built at the beginning
of the XXth century, this church seems very old, probably
former to the XVIth century. In the village called Glisant,

candies, chouchen. On appointment on the 02 97 75 18 54. Take

under your eyes.. On your road, you will pass in front of
the Mill of Béraudaie, going back to the end of the
XVIth and beginning of the XVIIth century ,and the dwelling
dating back to the end of the XIXth up to approximately 1950.
In the place called Portal, you will discover the saint Charles
vault, that is recently restored. It survived the fire which
devastated the Castle of Portal in 1892. This vault is very
old, probably going back to before 1610, date on which Saint
Charles was canonized.
