SEDAN

Here the history is visited.
A few kilometres from there, the most imposing fortress of Europe stands up. 35 000 m2 out of 7 levels. A giant which overhangs the town of Sedan. II is necessary to take time to visit this masonry. Wet staircases, staff waiting room, bastions... each recess is to be discovered. There are other fortresses in this area: Villy and its last fort of the Maginot Line, Rocroi and its citadel out of star but also the churches of Thiérache, that are strengthened to protect the villagers in the event of attack.
Charleville-Mézières
the Ducal Place of Charleville-Mézières resembles the famous Place of the Vosges in Paris. The architects were brothers.

Sedan
A dive in history
The guns resound and the principal rafters are ready to shoot. One hears the orders given by the captain. It is a whole environment which is reconstituted in te Historium of the strong Castle of Sedan. Each one can make this visit with his rhythm thanks to the "interpreters" that are a kind of helmet which give the comments in the wanted language at the desired moment.
