CARGESE AND ITS AREA

PAOMIA
- Rondolino : small hamlet built on the site of one of the first Greek sites, erased at the time of the revolt of the ferruled in 1731
- San Elio :place of worship dating approximately back to the Xll th century, restored in 1991 by a building female school-site
- Armed Menhir : approximate dating 2500 before Jesus Christ. II is located inthe beginning of the Monti Tide. On the left,there are remainders of the vault of St Jean the Baptist whose stones were used for the construction of the current Greek church of Gargèse.
- Sauveur : beach of Porto Monaghi, granite sculpture representing the arrival of the Greeks in Corsica.

Porto
Seaside resort. Visit of the aquarium.
Permanent exhibition on the life in the XVI th century in the Genoese tower.

Sagone
Old bishopric extending from Ajaccio to Calvi in the beginning of the XIIth century. Cathedral of San Appiano: pisan style currently in ruin. There is a reuse of an inscribed menhir (Sagone II) in re-employment in an angle of the church.

Vico
Principal Borough of Deux-Sorru: Typical architecture: high houses without balconies (or added much later. Stuck ones to the others). Saint François convent: dating back to the XIIth century and currently in activity.

Evisa
Forest of Aïtone: pedestrian path through regional park; natural cascades and picines. Departure from the carpark above the "paesolu of Aïtone". marked out way. Easy.

Ota
Genoese Bridge

Calanches
Possible Stop throughout the road. hiking trail in the departure of des"Roches Bleues " in the center of the Calanches.

HYDRAULIC MILL OF FLOUR
Established between 1869 and 1871. Witness of the activities of flour-milling of the area. Equipped with elementary machines.

Piana
Construction in 1960. Built at 438m of altitude, the village overhangs the gulf of Porto and faces the almost islands of Senino and Scandola.
