Romantic
castles and parks
In the XIXth century , the romantic spirit reigned and many
places kept this atmosphere of daydream, emotion, sensitivity:
the Vallée-aux-Loups, a refuge, for Chateaubriant,
Courson and the rare trees of its park. In Jeurre, the ruins
emerge to the detour of the alleys. The large trees of Chamarande
play their reflections in the water parts.

for Jean-Baptist Colbert and his son, Minister for the king
Louis XIV, the duke and the duchess of Maine made, at the

nests a pretty house that is decorated and furnished with
the taste of the beginning of the XIXth century.
