with a French style
At the XVIIth century, the famous Le Nôtre creates
the garden "with a French style". Inspired by
a strict geometry, the garden "with a French style;"
offer a hugeperspective with: its mirrors, its embroideries
starting from the the terrace of the castle. There is a
great number of gardens "with a French syle" in
the Ile area of Island ofFrance .The park of the castle
of Vaux-le-Vicomte, first achievement of Nôtre, Versailless,
the first park of Sceaux......
Mirrors and embroideries
the embroideries and the mirrors constitute the principal
characteristics of the garden with a French style.
The mirrors are big ponds in which the residence and the
light of the sky reflect. As for the embroideries, they
are floors of flowers and of wisely arranged shrubs .
Gardens with an English style 
With more reliefs and roundnesses, the garden "with
an English style" recommends more imagination and a
return to nature: small hills, rocks, large trees, ancient
brooks, waterfalls, temples... Their goal: to recreate a
natural effect within the garden and to invite the walkers
to the daydream and the emotion.
aMedieval garden
Sometimes, certain gardens invited to meditation or were
made useful for the pharmacopeia: one still finds medicinal
herbs in cultuvation in these modest lawns encircled of
