THE
LANGUEDOCIEN COAST
The littoral, mainly virgin hemmed of beaches and lagoons,
is the paradise of the pink flamingos. It is punctuated with
great seaside resorts, cities, and close to them,with churches
and Roman or Gothic abbeys, ancient sites, offering multiple
possibilities of visits and greedy discoveries.
Grande Motte
Seaside resort with numerous green parks; pyramidal architecture
conceived by Jean Balladur. Marina; palace of congress; flowered
city. Station kid, beaches of fine sand, school of sailing,
fishing at sea, tennis, watery space GrandBleu, golf of 18
holes (2 courses) and 6 holes; casino; thalassotherapy center;
aquarium. Cultural and sportinganimations in summer.
Carnon - Mauguio
Station whose beach spreads to Grande Motte. Marina, school
of sailing; natural site of the pond of Gold. Feasts in summer.
Palavas les Flots
SSeaside resort and village of fishermen between sea and ponds.
Marina, fine sand beaches, school of sailing, under water
diving, fishing at sea; tourist train decorated by Albert
Dubout; casino. the Headlight of the Mediterranean, (promenade
deck); in Ballestras, the museum Albert Dubout, works of the
painter and caricaturist. In April, festival of extreme sports;
from May to September, Languedocian tournaments; in July,
festival of Saint-Pierre
Frontignan
A seaside resort and city known for its muscatel.
Marina, beaches, equestrian, pedestrian hiking trails and
VTT in the massif of Gardiole. the Roman church of Saint Paul
is a museum of local history and of the muscatel.
THE
BASIN OF THAU
With18 km of length and 5 km of width, this inland sea, dominated
by the Mount of Saint Clair, are bordered with many villages
of fishermen vowed to the oyster and conchylaceous activity.
THE ROAD OF THE
PONDS IN NARBONNESE COUNTRY
Between Narbonne and the Mediterranean, the massif of
the clape, country of the Wine Grape, of garrigues and pines,
and a privileged place for the hikers. At its foot, the seaside
resorts, the fine sand beaches and ponds attract the amateurs
of nature and sailboard. In Antiquity, Aude threw itself in
the lagoons around Narbonne, becoming today the ponds of Bages
and sigean. 
THE LITTORAL OF
ROUSSILLON
On this diversified littoral, coast fine sand beaches and
rocky coast. Many seaside resorts re-elected for their infrastructures
of reception and leisures mark it out. From Barcarès
Port in Saint Cyprien, it is a privileged destination for
the yachtmen who are amateurs of sailing.
THE VERMEILLE COAST
the rockY coast of Roussillon was baptized in the XIXth century,
"the Vermeille Coast" because of the color of the
schistous rocks at daybreak or at the evening fall. Punctuated
of many villages, it is also famous for the beauty of its
seafloors.
