The country of Arles,
the Camargue and the Crau

Overview
Here is a country of rivers, marshes, sea and plains, a land between heaven and water. Located west of the department of Bouches-du-Rhone, Arles country is barely above the Rhône delta plain and old, along the Mediterranean Sea.
It is a territory marked by a wilderness, where sea, river and ponds are mixed intimately, where wildlife is evident in the birds, bulls, horses, sheep ... In these places, an ancient city, Arles, classified as world heritage by UNESCO has strong traditions of Provence and Camargue.

Climat
The climate is hot and sunny all year round, ventilated days of strong Mistral. In Camargue, the wilderness is not domesticated, mosquitoes are part of the landscape and should not be underestimated (creams and protections of use).

history
This great city of antiquity was positioned at the crossroads of ancient tracks (Rome, Spain, northern Europe, Via Aurelia, Via Agrippa, Regordane way). Then prosperous city until the XVI century before falling asleep gently. In the twentieth century, the clock comes from agriculture, tourism and culture.
