Salon
of Provence
Salon-of-Provence, bien dans sa peau city average, has a situation
geographically
in the heart of major routes communication.Cette town with
a strong market is imbued with spirituality as evidenced by

Saint-Laurent and Castle Empéri. The latter houses

Sandeel
in Provence
Built on a rocky outcrop, overlooking the plain irrigated
by the Canal
Crayons, Lançon de Provence is a very old village provençal
character, situated beside the National 113. Sandeels has
a rich architectural heritage: the medieval castle of the
11th century, remains of three ramparts of the 13th, 14th
and 16th centuries remain where several rounds of different
architectural styles. Several pages of history of Provence
are remembered, wandering its streets and alleys (Ward Marone),
in its many buildings of medieval and Renaissance eras, church
of the 14th and 17th centuries, the house called "Templar"
or hotel Foresta built in the 16th century in the Renaissance.
Cornillon-Confoux

Cornillon-Confoux, village of origin celto-ligure, is located
10 km from Salon de Provence. Walking along its "baou"

Saint-Chamas

This small city with a rich history has many buildings and
points of view are worth the detour
Grans
Grans, located 4 km southwest of Salon de Provence, is a town
of 3860 people, spread over 2760 hectares, located between
Crau and Touloubre, mainly rural and consists of meadows (hay
Crau), surrounded by hedges . Grans, mentioned since the 10th
century, likely from the Latin granum (grain), has counted
up to 12 wheat mills in the 19th century. Today he remains
active, a flour mill and an oil mill. The center of the village
is steeped in history. It has preserved its character with
its typical Provencal houses, squares and circular ring which
indicates the presence of walls until the 17th century. It
is crossed by the Touloubre, winding river bordered by cliffs
and dominated by the archaeological site of Oppidum Baumajour.
Uncaptured two sources are listed in the village: "the
great Fontaine," The source of Canebière "that
feeds the fountain Mary-Rose.
