Overview
With the country of Aix and Salon, here is the second country
of Provence inner north-western department of Bouches-du-Rhone,
south of Avignon and the Durance river, east of the Rhone.
This area is made of small mountains and valleys. The chain
of Alpilles crosses from east to west. It is the hinterland
traditional, local regionalist writers Alphonse Daudet and
Frederic Mistral. The small town of Saint-Rémy Homel
was the painter Vincent Van Gogh who painted his greatest
masterpieces (sunflowers and cypress), villages were practicing
agriculture generous.
Climat
