CIRCUIT OF CRAFTS CENTER OF OLD

The installation of artisans in the historical heart of Fréjus revives a tradition that died out in the eighteenth century and which found its origin in the pharmacies of potters installed inside the ancient city but also its device. Member of "cities and trades arts ", Fréjus promotes the installation of artist studios and invited, through this circuit, a breakthrough in secular gestures but constantly renewed.

Houses of trades arts
Set in a magnificent Roman cellar in full old center, the place Paul-Albert Février, la Maison des Métiers d'Art, opened in May 2003, aims to promote the work of artisans from all circuits des Métiers d'Art, initiated by the city.
Showcase of the local establishment, this house is inspired by the artisans themselves, to share their expertise and to refer people to the door of their studios. Place for exchange and confrontation of art, the House of Art, through exhibitions and one-off events, offers a compendium of techniques and disciplines of all the artists and craftsmen from the heart of town. This new cultural center, intended to guide all public sue the paths of creation, was designed to help, so living the life of the ancient center of Fréjus.
