Gabareses slipped during centuries the long of the Garonne as big pot-bellied boats, driving their cockles overloaded with barrels or cereals. Replaced by the railroad and roads, they have been extinguished little by little.
The Valley of Garonne today makes this regional heritage be born again through 5 escapades... to revive the channel!
